Michael D. Ritenour
Mr. Ritenour is a senior associate with the firm. With more than thirty years of tort defense litigation experience nationwide plus tenures as corporate counsel and risk manager, he has represented insurers, companies, and individuals in matters relating to automobile negligence, construction, employment, architect/engineer professional negligence, medical malpractice, insurance agent E&O, product liability, premises liability, entertainment, discrimination, intellectual property, commercial disputes, and toxic torts. Mr. Ritenour has successfully tried dozens of high exposure cases, and has obtained dismissals and negotiated advantageous settlements in numerous multi-million dollar claims. Mr. Ritenour’s current practice focuses on complex insurance defense litigation, with a concentration in the areas of Personal Injury Protection benefits and third-party litigation.
